Social Care & Welfare
The Foundation, was established in 1998 with a focus on ‘sustainable development and nature conservation’. Today its work has expanded to include Social Care & Welfare, Rural Livelihoods, Outdoor Education, Wildlife & Wilderness and Mountain Areas Development.
EDR Foundation started activities in 1998 and was formally registered as a Public Charitable Trust in 2000. It is registered under 12A and 80G of the Indian Income Tax Act of 1962. Philanthropic contributions to the Foundation are exempt under 80G of the IT Act.
The Foundation is a diverse non-profit organization dedicated to helping people in need in the areas of nature education, civil society, private enterprise, environmental resource management, humanitarian relief and healthcare.
